    AMENITIES & SERVICES
What to expect: The Westin’s chic natural elements capture the spirit of Whistler and the Northwest, but this resort is far from rustic. From the dramatic views of tree-covered peaks seen through the windows of the luxurious spa, to the vaulted ceilings and river-rock accents of the expansive lobby, the shopping arcade, and restaurant areas, the Westin is a year-round retreat for those who want to be pampered. Mountain enthusiasts of all kinds catch the gondolas from the resort’s handy slopeside location, and in summer, golfers practice at the driving range just across the street.

Amenity Highlights: Soaker tubs, fireplaces, and well-equipped pine kitchenettes make the resort’s 419 suites difficult to leave. In-suite dining is available 24 hours a day from the Aubergine Grille; for a chic après-ski atmosphere, try the FireRock Lounge. Condé Nast considers the Avello Spa and Health Club to be one of the most comprehensive in Canada, so take advantage of its indoor/outdoor pool, dual whirlpools, Eucalyptus steam room, and extensive fitness area. In addition, a shopping arcade of various boutique and sports equipment stores (such as Helly Hansen) extends off the lobby for last-minute necessities or the perfect souvenir.

Insider Tip: Whether guests use the front or back entrance to the Westin, the resort’s central village location makes it possible to walk just a few steps to the lifts, shops, clubs, and restaurants that this compact metropolis offers. The ski-in/ski-out Westin Resort and Spa provides a luxury resort experience with easy proximity to the slopes.
