Driving directions from Vancouver International Airport: Exit the airport on Grant McConachie Way and follow the signs for Hwy 99N over the Arthur Laing Bridge and onto Granville St. Continue north on Granville St for about four miles and onto the Granville St Bridge. On the bridge, move to the far right lane, and then take the Seymour St exit. Continue on Seymour St to Georgia St, and then turn left onto Georgia St. Continue on Georgia St though Stanley Park and over the Lions Gate Bridge. Take the W Vancouver exit onto Marine Dr W, and then move to the far right lane. Take the first right onto Taylor Way and travel up the hill. Go under the overpass, and then turn left onto Hwy 99 N. Continue north on Hwy 99 for about 62 miles to Whistler. Once in Whistler, turn right onto Village Gate Blvd. Take the first left onto Northlands Blvd. Resort and check-in office are one block on left.
A shuttle service that operates vans and buses is the most popular way of getting from the airport to the hotel, and one-way fares are more than $36. Fee subject to change without notice. Getting around: The village of Whistler is compact and pedestrian-friendly, so walking is a popular and convenient way of getting around year round. WAVE, the local public bus system, provides free service throughout Whistler Village, including a shuttle between Whistler Village, Upper Village, and the Benchlands. Taxis are also available. Renting a car is necessary only for travel to outlying areas. During the summer season bikes are popular, and the area offers an excellent network of bike paths.
